Thanks for the birthday wishes!
I had a very good birthday. I took the afternoon off and just bummed around one of the many funky little Portland shopping districts.
I really don't mind the thought of turning 40 next year. It's just a number. And, although I am a sober and contributing member of society, I'm never going to be very good at 'acting my age' (whatever that means).

Being as I've yet to figure out what "acting my age" really means then I shall act whatever age suits me at the time. And if a person doesn't like the age I'm acting well then they can go play elsewhere!
BTW: 40 wasn't bad, but 25 is better!! LOL

happy belated birth-anniversary. Having just turned the big 4-0 - one thing helped me along - if you think about it - you are already *in* your 40th year - and I bet it is going knittingly! By the time you are ready to celebrate it's completion next year - just look at all the FO's and great vistas you captured over the last 365 days!
40 is not so bad. Besides - you are only as old as you act...I guess that makes me 12... :)
