I think I know what you mean. I had stopped shooting my projects because it never looked professional enough for me -- this year my resolution was to take a picture of every project no matter how crappy the photo because the visual record of my knitting is useful to me. So far it's working, I've even posted photos taken with my phone.
You shouldn't feel pressured to share photos if you don't want to but I enjoy seeing finished projects and in-progress projects so I hope you feel inspired to share agin.
