yes change is possible if you wish to change yourself. It is not advisable to try and change any one else

Why not? You create your reality. In the words of my favorite Trek ship captain, "Make it so."

Yes. Change usually happens gradually, so you may not notice it in your day to day life. But on reflecting back, you should be able to see the change over time.

Definitely possible -- unless you expect it to be permanent. ;)

Martha said it best, and it reminds me of my favorite lightbulb joke : How many psychiatrists does it take to change a lightbulb? Only one, but the lightbulb really has to want to change... Happy New Year!

I'm with Joan. ;o)

But oh it can be hard...even if you really want it.

I firmly believe that personal change is always, always possible. Perversely, it often seems to be action first, then thought and attitude follow (sometimes years later. bleh). I refuse to calcify in the face of the universe.

Glad to hear from you, I hope you made it back unscathed from the Great White North.

Change is always happening. You don't haveta want it & it'll happen, whether to you or others around you or anything (entropy). The conclusion I get from this:
No matter the situation or when in doubt....KNIT! :)

Blessings, Mrs.C.

I sure hope so. I've got a few things I want to change this year. But I realize that things that change will do so very slowly... I give myself time, patience and encouragement.

Also, if you don't know what you're looking for can you really find it? Must it be pre-defined to be found? Or does it become something else, something perhaps 'discovered'?

Wishing you all the best for 2008.
Take good care of yourself.
